Julie Lejeune & Melissa Russo
¬ Abducted on June 24th, 1995 with her classmate Melissa Russo.
¬ Both 8 years old, they were kept in Marcinelle, in the cellar.
¬ In December, Dutroux was arrested under car theft charges, and left them in the care of Martin. Unfortunately, Martin had been too scared to feed the girls, and left them to starve.
¬ When Dutroux was released on March 20, 1996, they buried their bodies in Sars-La-Buissière
Melissa Russo
An Marchal & Eefje Lambrecks
¬ On August 22nd, 1995 An (17) and Eefje (19) were abducted when walking home from a vacation from a holiday home in Weltende.
¬ Since Melissa and Julie were still alive at this time, they were kept upstairs chained to the bed.
¬ According to Martin, they were drugged and brought back to Jumet, where they were buried alive in the garden.
¬ Around this time, Dutroux was turned in by one of his accomplices, and he was arrested under car theft charges. He left Melissa and Julie under Martins care.
Sabine Dardenne
¬ Sabine (12) was abducted whilst cycling to school on May 28th, 1996
¬ For 80 days, she was chained to the bed.
¬ After she was rescued, she continued on to right ‘I Choose to Live’, detailing her experiences while kidnapped.
Laetitia Delhez
¬ On August 9th, 1996 Laetitia (14) was abducted on her way home from school.
¬ Eye-witness reports recalled Dutroux van, and licenses plate number.
¬ After 4 days, Sabine and Laetitia were found and rescued.
